PAKISTAN MINISTRIES

building hope in Pakistan

Rooby
Umer
Nabeel

RDM's two ministries near Faisalabad, Pakistan, are a beacon of hope for oppressed minority groups. One ministry focuses on brick-kiln workers, who are trapped in bondage due to inherited debt to Muslim owners, who often abuse their workers, including children. The other ministry serves poor agricultural workers, who struggle with an 80% illiteracy rate, large families, and meager wages of three dollars per day, with deductions for expenses, perpetuating their debt. Despite these challenges, these minorities are surprisingly receptive to the gospel, identifying as Christian, although they haven't heard it. They are enthusiastic about hearing God's word, grasping the concept of spiritual redemption.

Rooby collaborates closely with the families of brick-kiln workers in the vicinity of Faisalabad. Leveraging her academic credentials and expertise, she provides the instruction in English and Urdu, as well as biblical teachings, to underprivileged children who lack access to educational resources.

Rooby's long-term objective is to expand her ministry by establishing a school for these poor children. Education serves as a vital tool for evangelism and discipleship, aiming to liberate future generations of Christian minorities from economic and physical exploitation.

Additionally, she assists her brother, Umer, and her family in organizing open-air gatherings and distributing essential food, medicine, and clothing vicinity of Faisalabad. Leveraging her academic credentials and expertise, she provides instruction in English and Urdu, as well as biblical teachings, to underprivileged children who lack access to educational resources.

Umer fulfills a pastoral role among brick-kiln laborers, leading open-air gatherings and in-home visits for prayer, teaching, and emotional/spiritual support. He distributes food, clothing, medicines and audio Bibles (when available) to these disadvantaged and mostly illiterate families.

Umer desires to harness his educational expertise to create vocational training initiatives and small business ventures, thereby offering a beacon of hope for a more promising future to these desperately poor families.

Nabeel is dedicated to providing support to impoverished minority agricultural workers living in rural villages near Faisalabad. He does weekly outreach through preaching, children's ministries, prayer groups, and men/women Bible studies.

Nabeel also organizes large-scale outdoor evangelistic meetings, which draw substantial crowds. Many of these individuals have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Although most of the audience have never heard the true gospel, many of these people consider themselves “Christian,” and have been persecuted by the Muslim majority.

Nabeel provides spiritual guidance, preaching, teaching, and comfort to families and the elderly within their homes. Additionally he distributes essential resources, such as food, medicine, clothing, and audio Bibles, as funding permits.
